2011 Asheville Cycling Camp
The 2011 ride/camp is on....
at least the dates are set so far.
We will be changing things up for 2011 by incorporating some mountain biking into the week along with a few road rides.
If you don't want to go mountain biking, there are plenty of old routes we have saved and you are more than welcome to go out and road ride while others are out having more fun churning up dirt in the woods. We plan to hit some of Dupont and some Pisgah Trails.
Like last year, I hope we can again stay right downtown, which makes it very easy to go eat and walk out some leg stiffness.
Stay tuned for more info....

Just a few miles from downtown Asheville, is one of America's most scenic drives. A drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway is meant to be slow paced and relaxing. A stop at almost any overlook or trail will reveal much of the natural and cultural history here. The Parkway meanders 469 miles between Shenandoah and Great Smoky Mountains National Parks, explore the many communities along the way that make the region so special. Enjoy the view, the Overlooks offer breaks during a ride, there are ranger programs at most developed areas during the summer and autumn months.
The Parkway provides wonderful opportunities for cycling.
